Samenvatting
Vincent wants to paint. But at art school he often disagrees with his teachers. So he teaches himself to paint, supported by his younger brother Theo. The brothers write letters to each other all their lives. That’s how we know how Vincent developed his art and how he felt. He made almost nine hundred paintings and over a thousand drawings. Shortly before his death his work started to get recognized and today Vincent van Gogh is one of the best known artists in the world.
This picture book will be published in conjunction with a major exhibition on Vincent van Gogh at the Kröller-Müller Museum.
